    Allowances for disabled students (DSA)

    If you have a disability, the disabled student allowance (DSA) can help you cope with the extra costs of a condition. There’s a physical and financial support.

    Financing should not be repaid and not verified - but if you already receive money under the same conditions (for example, financial support from your uni), you may not be able to apply for DSA. Check the rules before applying.

    You are a British student who meets the requirements for student funding.

    You are a full-time or part-time student at a recognized rate (undergrad or postgrad).

    You have a state of health, mental health problems, or learning difficulties.

    You need to prove that you are satisfied with the requirements of the evaluation or the provision of a doctor’s letter (you can also apply for this).

    If you are from the EU or the EEA, start with the country you want to study

    What is called a scheme (for example, access to the Learning Foundation), how much in a saucepan and how it is paid, will vary according to the institution, but, as the name suggests, money is there to help students seriously

    How much can I get?
